bell hat and brooch with locally made wool

I made this hat with some lovely dark purple wool that a friend bought at a local market, the wool come from local Gower sheep and handmade spun . It's really lovely and thick. I will keep this one for myself as I think it really suits me and the wool was given to me as a present.

With the left over I could make this lovely brooch which 10cm diameter

Breton blanket

I made this blanket for my son for his birthday.Because he loves boats a lot, I thought stripes and boats would be nice and will give it a breton style. I made 13 rows of 6 squares in crochet (ch,sc) and sew the boats on some red squares. I haven't made it too large as my son's bed is no the floor.
